Ingredients

  • 1 ribeye or strip steak (preferably a smaller cut)

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

  • Salt, to taste

  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

  • ½ medium onion, sliced

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 pack Chapagetti instant noodles

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 green onion, sliced (for freshness)


Instructions

1. Prepare the Steak

  1. Pat the steak dry with paper towels.

  2. Season both sides generously with salt.

  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.

  4. Add the steak and sear for about 2 minutes per side until browned.

  5. Add 2 tbsp butter to the pan and baste the steak with the melted butter for extra richness.

  6. Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for 10 minutes.

  7. Slice into strips and finish with freshly cracked black pepper.


2. Build the Ramen Base

  1. In the same pan (don’t wipe it!), use the leftover butter + steak drippings.

  2. Add the sliced onion and cook over medium heat until soft and lightly golden.

  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  4. Sprinkle in the Chapagetti seasoning packet.

  5. Stir and sauté for 1 minute to deepen the flavor.


3. Cook the Noodles

  1. Pour in 1 cup of water and bring to a simmer.

  2. Add the Chapagetti noodles directly into the pan.

  3. Cook until the noodles reach your preferred texture—saucey, glossy, and rich.


4. Finish & Serve

  1. Stir in the sliced green onion for freshness.

  2. Place the sliced steak on top of the noodles.

  3. Serve immediately, making sure to scoop up all the buttery, savory sauce.
