Choc Crackle Slice 🍫✨

Choc Crackle Slice 🍫✨

Sweet, crunchy, high-protein, and unbelievably easy to make — this Choc Crackle Slice is the perfect no-bake treat. Each slice contains approximately 15g of protein, making it a delicious snack that also supports your goals!

Ingredients

  • 150g soy protein crisps

  • 150g dark chocolate (chips or a chopped block)

  • 1/3 cup (≈85g) natural peanut butter
(Smooth mixes more easily, but crunchy works too!)

  • Optional: A pinch of sea salt

Method

  1. Melt the Chocolate
Gently melt the dark chocolate using a double boiler or the microwave in 20–30 second intervals, stirring between each burst until smooth and glossy.

  2. Loosen the Peanut Butter
Add the peanut butter to a small bowl and warm it in the microwave for about 20 seconds, just until slightly runny. This helps it mix more evenly with the chocolate.

  3. Combine Everything
Pour the peanut butter and optional sea salt into the melted chocolate.
Add the soy protein crisps and mix thoroughly until every piece is well coated.

  4. Press into a Tray
Transfer the mixture into a lined rectangular baking tray or any flat container.
Press down firmly with a spatula to form an even, compact layer.

  5. Chill to Set
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until fully set.
Slice into squares or bars — and enjoy your crunchy, chocolatey protein snack!

Tips for Best Results

Use high-quality chocolate — it gives a smoother texture and better snap.
If the mixture feels too dry, add 1–2 tablespoons of melted peanut butter.
Want it sweeter? Add 1–2 teaspoons of maple syrup to the melted chocolate before mixing.
Make it dairy-free by using dairy-free dark chocolate.
Store in the fridge for up to 7 days or freezer for up to 3 months.
Customize it — mix in nuts, chia seeds, or a drizzle of white chocolate on top for decoration.
